Effisus Ecofacade FR Membrane System has been nominated in the SFE Awards as Product of the Year for 2022. This honor recognizes excellence and first-rate performance in our Fire Rated Systems, used in many projects all over Europe, the United Kingdom and the United Arab Emirates. 

Over recent years, and in the light of the terrifying tragedies filling the front pages, Fire has become a primary concern for the construction industry across the globe.

These horrifying events generated a huge wave of concern for governments, raising the alarm as they did about combustible building exteriors, and flammable cladding which had been used until quite recently. These were highly combustible plastic-laden components in the cladding and insulation, that inevitably helped fire spread more quickly.

With this very much at the forefront of the authorities’ minds, governments have created funds to re-clad buildings and introduced new building regulations, in order to protect residents and their homes and prevent further catastrophe. 

At Effisus we are focusing all our efforts on creating innovative non-combustible solutions to be able to meet this need by cooperating on a project-by-project basis with architects, façade consultants, contractors, developers, and other stakeholders.

And our BBA approved Ecofacade FR Membrane System meets that need! The BBA certification ensures that both systems are fully integrated, tested and approved, guaranteeing confidence in quality control and waterproofing design, and providing a future proof solution for any project. Not only do we supply the Class A1 membranes, but the full kit includes membranes and tapes, fire rated as Class A2 s-1 d0.
