SkyVenture, also known as Spacewalk, is a Indoor Skydiving Wind Tunnel part of the Abu Dhabi Country Club. Opened in 2007, is located between Abu Dhabi’s biggest mall and the famous Ferrari World Theme Park.

Above ground level, the skydiving simulator reaches a height of approx. 50m, and is submerged over 6m on the floor. The concrete and steel requirements, the depth of the excavation, the height and the width of the construction are all conducted to house the 10m high and 10m circular skydiving flight chamber, forming the heart of the simulator.

In this project it was used the Effisus Ecofacade to protect the building from potential water damage, maximizing energy efficiency and acoustics, the Effisus Bonding KF+P Adhesive – an innovative bonding solvent free, with exceptional properties of adhesiveness, waterproofing and UV resistance – and the Effisus Coat NP Primer which served as a bonding agent for the adhesion of Effisus Ecofacace waterproof sealing systems.
