Description:
Construction of the Apple Park in Cupertino, California, USA, involved creating a landmark circular “spaceship” campus spanning over 175 acres and designed to accommodate more than 12,000 employees. The project required advanced engineering to realize its curved glass façades, expansive cantilevered structures, and highly sustainable systems, including natural ventilation, on-site renewable energy generation, and extensive landscaped areas. Project was conceived for high-energy efficiency and very low maintenance during operation.
Applied Effisus Solutions:
Effisus EasyRepair versatile and long-lasting solution for sealing joints between a wide range of materials such as glass, aluminum, concrete or even polycarbonate.
Our Added Value:
The roofs and façades of Apple Park are highly complex and meticulously designed, featuring curved glass, large spans, and exceptional architectural ambition. Achieving robust sealing at such intricate details resulted in fewer leaks, greater durability, and reduced long-term maintenance. This was especially important given Apple Park’s goal of being extremely energy-efficient and low-maintenance — for instance, the building is naturally ventilated for much of the year.
The selection of Effisus EasyRepair — and its recognition as a contributing component — demonstrates that this solution meets the exceptionally high standards for performance, aesthetics, and integrity required in this project.
