Apex One

London, United Kingdom

Description:

Apex One is a contemporary residential development located in London, designed to offer high-quality living spaces within one of the city’s most active and fast-growing urban areas. As a new-build project, the development places strong emphasis on comfort, durability and energy performance, integrating modern architectural design with efficient building-envelope systems and sustainable construction practices. With its clean facade lines and generous glazed areas, the project required reliable sealing solutions to support long-term indoor comfort and protect the structure against London’s variable weather conditions.

Applied Effisus Solutions

To meet the demanding performance requirements of the facade, Apex One incorporated the Effisus Vapour FR System as the air and vapour control layer (AVCL). The non-combustible A1 fire-rated membrane provided continuous airtightness across the building envelope, reducing condensation risks and improving thermal stability within the residential units. Being non-combustible with high resistance to moisture and temperature variations made it an ideal choice for a modern housing development built to stringent UK regulatory standards.

Our Added Value

The Effisus Vapour FR System ensured the building envelope achieved optimal airtightness and long-term protection against moisture transfer – critical factors for residential comfort and energy efficiency. By stabilising internal conditions and preventing condensation within the facade build-up, the system helped extend the lifespan of insulation and structural materials. Its robust, fire-rated performance offered enhanced safety while integrating seamlessly with the project’s facade design. As a result, Effisus contributed to a more efficient, durable and high-performing residential building, aligned with the overall quality and sustainability aspirations of Apex One.
