The Mohammed VI Tower in Salé, Morocco, is a landmark development set to become one of Africa’s tallest and most emblematic high-rise structures. Designed as a symbol of progress and modernity for the region, the tower forms part of a major urban regeneration initiative on the banks of the Bouregreg River, combining hospitality, residential and commercial functions. As a new-build project in a highly visible waterfront location, the facade design required exceptional levels of precision, airtightness and long-term durability, particularly given the tower’s height, exposure to strong winds and the climatic variations characteristic of a coastal environment.

Applied Effisus Solutions

To meet the demanding performance requirements of the high-rise facade, the project choose the Effisus Ecofacade Pre-fab solution. This system delivered a robust, interface sealing approach that ensured perfect continuity between facade elements, improved installation efficiency and reduced on-site labour risks. By integrating the membrane solutions directly into the prefabricated facade units, the project achieved consistent quality, optimised production timelines and enhanced overall façade weatherproofing performance.
