The structure is widely regarded as both an architectural and engineering masterpiece, combining bold aesthetics with advanced facade design.

To guarantee long-term comfort, durability and environmental performance, the project integrated the Effisus Ecofacade system throughout the building’s facade connections. Applied to critical interfaces such as window perimeters and cladding junctions, the solution ensured full watertightness and airtightness while significantly enhancing the hotel’s overall energy efficiency. By providing a continuous, high-performance sealing layer, Effisus Ecofacade contributed to the building’s resilience against weather exposure, improved interior comfort for guests and supported the sustainable operation of this iconic Lisbon landmark.
