Marina Triple Bay Hotel

Amaala, Saudi Arabia

Description:

The Marina Triple Bay Hotel is part of the pioneering development in the Red Sea region, a destination designed to set new benchmarks in sustainable luxury hospitality across the Middle East and North Africa. Surrounded by pristine coastline and protected natural landscapes, the project combines high-end architecture with strict environmental performance requirements, ensuring both guest comfort and long-term durability in a climate characterised by intense heat, humidity variations and saline marine conditions. As a new-build hospitality landmark, the hotel’s facade system required robust sealing solutions to guarantee airtightness, energy efficiency and full protection of the building envelope.

Applied Effisus Solutions

To meet the facade’s demanding performance criteria, the project incorporated the Effisus Vapour FR System as the air and vapour control layer (AVCL) across critical facade zones. The system provided a continuous, non-combustible membrane solution capable of managing vapour diffusion, preventing condensation risks and ensuring airtight connections between facade components, structural elements and insulation layers.

Our Added Value

The Marina Triple Bay Hotel’s coastal desert environment made high-performance sealing essential to avoid moisture-related degradation, improve energy efficiency and maintain indoor comfort for guests. The Effisus Vapour FR System delivered a dependable AVCL solution that enhanced the facade’s airtightness while stabilising internal temperature and humidity levels. Its resistance to extreme temperatures, marine exposure and structural movement ensured long-term durability, reducing the need for maintenance and protecting sensitive facade and interior finishes. Seamlessly integrated into the architectural design, the system supported the project’s objective of achieving outstanding sustainability and resilience standards without compromising aesthetics or construction efficiency.
