The Effisus SealExpand 1200 FR is a high-performance pre-compressed expanding foam tape designed for the durable sealing of façade and construction joints. Combining a B-s1,d0 fire classification with driving rain resistance of up to 1200 Pa, it provides enhanced protection for demanding façade applications where fire performance and weather resistance are critical.
Manufactured from flexible impregnated PUR foam, the tape expands after installation to adapt to joint irregularities and accommodate movement while maintaining long-term elasticity. Its expansion capacity creates a durable barrier against driving rain, wind and dust, while also contributing to reliable thermal and acoustic performance.
The tape is vapour diffusion permeable, helping moisture escape from the joint while maintaining effective external weather protection, and its resistance to UV exposure and weathering allows it to be used as a durable external joint-sealing solution without requiring additional protection in suitable applications.
Effisus SealExpand 1200 FR is suitable for a wide range of façade and construction systems, including cladding panels, curtain walling, prefabricated construction and perimeter joints around windows and doors, while its pre-compressed format and self-adhesive backing support fast and controlled installation across different joint dimensions.
