Typical waterproofing membrane applications rely on adhesive application for sealing the membranes. This application is manual, slow and prone to failures that increase the risk of leaks. Effisus Ecofacade SA Edge is a homogeneous, cured EPDM elastomer sheet, engineered with one or more self adhesive bands placed along one or both edges. This configuration allows the membrane to be installed directly into receiving slots, without the use of additional adhesives or sealants, making the application cleaner, faster, and more predictable.
The system’s superior performance is guaranteed not only by the inherent durability of EPDM, exceeding 50 years, but also by the optimisation enabled through its integrated self-adhesive bands. These bands can be manufactured in any number or configuration to meet the specific requirements of each project.
By eliminating separate adhesive steps, Effisus Ecofacade SA Edge improves installation speed, enhances budget control, minimises waste, and significantly reduces the risk of human error. The result is a dependable, efficient, and long-lasting waterproofing solution that elevates the quality and reliability of facade connection sealing across all types of construction.
For projects with stringent fire rating requirements, consider Effisus ProFlex FR that extraordinarily combines a 200% gap elongation capacity with a B class fire rating, without compromising on water and air tightness.
