At Eden House \u2013 The Park, effective vapour management therefore forms an important part of the fa\u00e7ade performance strategy.<\/p><p>Moisture-laden external air can move towards the cooler, air-conditioned interior. If water vapour travels through the fa\u00e7ade build-up and reaches colder surfaces, there is a risk of condensation forming within the construction.<\/p><p>To address this challenge, <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/effisus.com\/product\/effisus-vapour-fr\/\">Effisus Vapour FR<\/a><\/strong><\/span> Class A1 was selected to provide a continuous fire-rated air and vapour control layer across critical fa\u00e7ade interfaces. It was also managing water vapour moving through the fa\u00e7ade build-up. In Dubai\u2019s hot and humid climate, the difference between the external environment and the cooler conditioned interior can create significant vapour pressure across the building envelope.<\/p><p>Without effective vapour control, moisture can migrate into the fa\u00e7ade construction and increase the risk of interstitial condensation.<\/p><p>The fa\u00e7ade therefore required a solution capable of:<\/p><p>\u00b7 Restricting vapour migration through the fa\u00e7ade build-up<\/p><p>\u00b7 Reducing the risk of interstitial condensation<\/p><p>\u00b7 Maintaining continuity across slab edges, perimeters and transitions<\/p><p>\u00b7 Supporting fa\u00e7ade airtightness<\/p><p>\u00b7 Protecting insulation and internal finishes<\/p><p>\u00b7 Meeting demanding fire-performance requirements<\/p><p>\u00b7 Supporting the long-term durability of the building envelope<\/p><p>Continuity was particularly important. Even when the primary membrane performs effectively, gaps or inconsistencies at interfaces can create weak points within the overall air and vapour control layer.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-9752070 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"9752070\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h3>Effisus Solutions<\/h3><p><strong>Effisus Vapour FR for Fa\u00e7ade Vapour Control<\/strong><\/p><p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/effisus.com\/product\/effisus-vapour-fr\/\">Effisus Vapour FR<\/a><\/strong><\/span> Class A1 was selected to create a continuous air and vapour control layer within the fa\u00e7ade build-up. These areas are particularly important because breaks in the vapour-control layer can create uncontrolled paths for humid air and moisture.
